🎂Cozykins’ FIRST Birthday!
The Cozykins Plushies First Birthday Bash was every bit of magic I could have dreamed, and beyond!~
It still doesn't feel real that something that lived in sketches, scrawls, and late-night notes has now thrown its very first birthday party. You showed up to make it unforgettable. 🧡 Thank you!
We had a wonderful mix of folks who preordered tickets and others who bought them at the door (a very cozy surprise, given the lack of advertising— more notice shall be had, henceforth)! My mom even brought a homemade birthday cake for me personally, making sure I knew it was for my birthday, not just Cozy's. That little moment meant the world, truly.
I had poured so much into celebrating Cozykins that I hadn't realized how much it would mean to feel celebrated, as well.
A bit of our plushie pile found new homes with some wonderful kids and folks! Watching these once-forgotten friends get scooped up by new caretakers felt like restoring a little corner of the world. A massive thank-you, to everyone who adopted a plushie, and a very special shoutout to Elijah— a young local plushie artist who generously donated giant-sized plushies (and many more) to make the day even sweeter!
(PS: Elijah has big dreams of launching his own plushie line someday—and Cozykins has something cooking to help him! If you want to join the magic, please reach out before July 1st, 2025.)
There was so much joy tucked into every part of the event:
Guests picked out fresh handmade slime, loaded with toppings, sprinkles, and a lucky charm of their choice.
Miniature canvases lined the tables, ready for tiny masterpieces!
Our Build-a-Doll station buzzed with creativity as folks dolled-up new mini friends.
The music was a vibe. ~ If you’re into indie, dreampop, soft yet upbeat jams, you’d have loved it!
CAKE! My mom’s homemade cake was shared with the folks that stayed at the end of the event, and it was as cute as it was tasty.
And our Cozykins coloring pages? Too perfect! (If you took one home, be sure to tag us so we can share your epic creation!)
A Moment to Breathe
Over the past year, Cozykins Plushies was built from scratch—through production delays, through grief anniversaries, through a million challenges that no one saw. This was a beautiful opportunity to take in all the progress from the past year, all the overcoming and achieving. And I am only just getting started!
We are still so young, and yet this event made it feel like a lifetime of love had already been poured in. I’m proud. I’m grateful. I’m incredibly stoked for what lies ahead!
The Party Doesn’t Stop!
If you missed this birthday celebration, don’t sweat it! Visit the shop, buy a ticket, and I will ship event items to you! You will still get a raffle ticket— but you’ll need to secure your ticket by Saturday, May 3rd, 6:00 pm. The drawing for the raffle is at 9:00 pm the same night!
